At any Rugs a Million store we are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us will be used to provide you only with the services you have agreed to. It is safe and secure with us.

You are able to visit our website without disclosing any personal information to us. If you purchase from us or choose to provide your personal information to us, we will only use this information for purposes you have agreed to. Unless you indicate to us that you do not wish to receive marketing material, such a request can be made to our Privacy Officer. Other than this, we will not give your personal information to anyone without your approval.

Rugs a Million will keep your personal information confidential & secure. All of your information is kept in a location that is protected by secure servers. If you wish to access the information we have on you at any time please contact our Privacy Officer. Rugs a Million aims to ensure all of your personal information is accurate at all times. To assist us in doing this we ask that you inform us of any changes to your information by fax, phone, email or at any of our stores around Australia.

Personal information will not be disclosed without your consent, the only exception to this is where we would be required by law to do so. Rugs a Million will not accept responsibility for the use of any information that has been obtained through unauthorised access.

Database retrieval request

If you want to access your personal information from the database you can make a request by email, post or fax. A minimum fee of $20 will be charged for information retrieval. Upon receipt of your request we will contact you to verify your request, and to arrange fee payment. We will ensure that your details are supplied to you within 48 hoursof receipt of your payment, except when the retrieval process is complicated.

Delivery Policy

As part of our committed service to you we are proud to offer delivery in 7 business days for all rugs within mainland Australia. Shipping charges will apply and will be confirmed with you via phone, email or fax prior to shipment. For orders outside of mainland Australia, we are currently unable to supply without prior arrangement.

Receiving Policy

In the majority of cases your rug has travelled a long way to get to your home or office. The rug pile needs time to settle after such a long journey and after unrolling you may notice minor wrinkles or creases. We recommend that you allow your rug to completely lay out for 24-48 hours and then vacuum the rug, so that shipping wrinkles have the chance to relax and disappear.

Return Policy

Rugs can be returned to any Rugs a Million store, with a copy of your receipt. This is the preferred option for you because you can then receive an exchange or credit-slip without delay. Alternatively you can return your goods by return mail letting us know if you require a credit-slip or an exchange. 

If a rug is returned to a Rugs a million store within 48 hours of when you receive it, and  in new condition, we will cheerfully refund your money. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different from a sample shown to you or do not do what they are supposed to do. You should return a copy of the receipt provided at the time of purchase along with the returned items. Returns done in store can be processed immediately. However, returns by mail may take 2 weeks minimum to process and notification will be by email.
